Swell Studio

Swell Studio focuses on the design and fabrication of contemporary furniture and lighting. The studio was founded by Mike White in 2017 while residing in NYC and is currently located in New York's Hudson Valley.

As a lifelong snowboarder, surfer & outdoorsman, Mike's work is inspired by the shapes, textures, and our connection to the natural world. Swell creates contemporary pieces handcrafted with time-honored techniques from exceptional materials and elevated with artful, unexpected details.

Swell's ongoing goal is to make their pieces with respect for the environment. In addition to incorporating studio remnants into new works, they've also teamed up with the One Tree Planted non-profit to offset their carbon footprint.
