OVO Bar Stool - Upholstered
Made in solid oak with a choice of ebonised or natural finish and solid walnut, the OVO high stool is a perfect partner to the OVO high table, offered in two heights for a bar or kitchen island. It is available with a timber top which has a pillowed top surface and softly bevelled edge which makes it both comfortable to sit on and incredibly tactile. Alternatively, an upholstered version adds softness and understated elegance.We have chosen Sorensen Dunes Leather for its smooth, almost velvety matt finish and understated elegance. It is an aniline leather with subtle natural markings and will look even better as it ages.

After graduating from Parnham College for furniture makers, Sean Sutcliffe had a dream of launching his own furniture workshop, and was inspired by his travels around Denmark to bring industry and employment to a rural community.
It was at this time that he met Terence Conran and a firm friendship was made over a shared interest in making, wood, design and sustainability. They founded Benchmark together and the workshop and showroom are now situated on the grounds of Terence’s country home.
The Benchmark craftsmen care deeply about the entire making process. They believe that care and attention bring an energy and integrity to the final piece that could never be replicated by mass manufacture.
